U.S. Bank Corporate Payment Systems Credit Portfolio Manager - Minneapolis, MN in MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota

In the role you will:

  • Manage an assigned portfolio of high risk accounts within existing banking relationships in order to identify and act on potential issues.

  • Conduct credit analyses on existing bank relationships prior to making or recommending a credit decision.

  • Works in conjunction with other divisions on credit approvals, related projects, and risk management initiatives.

  • Prepares specialized reports and conduct analysis on loan quality/portfolio quality and makes recommendations to management.

  • Participate in calls with various bank partners and/or customers to obtain information, relay decisions, and/or communicate action plans.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Finance or Accounting) , or equivalent work experience

  • Three to five years of commercial banking experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, and company and business line policies and procedures

  • Advanced knowledge of credit quality standards and industry-specific credit products

  • Self-motivated individual with strong time management skills and ability to exercise independent judgement

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships

  • Well-developed written communication and verbal presentation skills
