Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking a Cyber Range Engineer - Cloud to support the development and creation of a world-class cyber range. The candidate will be part of a team-driven environment that focuses on supporting the technical holistic growth, development and maturity of cyber range participants’ success.
Overall Responsibilities:
Work in a team-based environment to support, maintain, and innovate U.S. Bank’s Cyber Range
Educate, coach, and train cyber range participants on deep technical cybersecurity topics
Lead and coach technical hands-on training exercises
Develop and maintain training material aligned to the team’s strategy
Maintain awareness of emerging industry security technologies, technology issues, regulatory issues and practices
Provides Information Security subject matter expertise in various risk assessments (inherent and then define the residual risk of a target state)
Weighs business needs against security concerns and recommends necessary changes to enhance information systems security
Ensures adherence to compliance with regulations and policies
Coding and debugging Terraform to continue to build out the environment.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
At least 4 years of full-time experience in cloud-centric engineering, architecting, and development efforts with Microsoft Azure
Experience with multi-cloud architectures between cloud providers including hybrid cloud designs (e.g., Linking Microsoft Azure with other cloud vendors)
Demonstrated abilities and experience in Configuration Management (e.g., Ansible) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
Deep knowledge in landing zone configurations and deployments
Previous experience in system administration and/or site-reliability engineering
Preferred Experience:
Experience with Amazon Web Services and Google Compute Platform
Deep knowledge in cloud-centric security concepts and configurations
Proven participation experience in multiple cybersecurity events including Capture-the-Flag, Red-vs-Blue exercises, and Bug Bounties
Experience with agile methodologies
Attending and/or presenting at cybersecurity conferences
Strong verbal and written communication skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $125,715.00 - $147,900.00 - $162,690.00
