The Business Operations Analyst will be responsible for managing and tracking assigned projects submissions to our Vendor, and responding to issues and research / inquiry questions in a timely manner. There are daily / weekly / monthly tasks which may be assigned as well. The individual will also need to collaborate well with others within the Bank and the vendor organization.
The team supports the Corporate Payment Solutions Treasury Management (CPTS) business line by working issues, questions, research items which are submitted to Vendor Operations regarding Total Systems (TSYS) TS1 system. This includes managing projects submitted to TSYS utilizing the U.S. Bank Connex processes, coordinating meetings, reviewing functional requirements, and testing prior to and post release of the new functionality. Ensures quality service and effective support for all the assigned internal and external customers. Will need to have the ability to digest technical information and articulate it in a non-technical manner or vice versa. Provide creditable challenge when appropriate. Participates in the review and recommendation of systems and procedures affecting assigned units, coordinating system conversions from a user perspective.
Extensive knowledge of TS1 functionality.
Ability to drive issue resolution and development to support CPTS’ usage of TSYS.
Manage TSYS projects effectively utilizing Connex processes and TSYS’ methodology, which includes testing in TSYS Verification Region as well as regression testing in Production.
Consults with personnel in other internal areas (Product / Technology / Servicing) as well as our vendor (TSYS) to coordinate activities.
Participate in after hours on-call support rotation.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Five or more years of related experience
5+ years of TSYS (TS1) system knowledge and experience.
Demonstrated strong teamwork / collaboration skills.
Additional system knowledge: Proficient in Excel.
Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects and deadlines simultaneously with limited supervision.
Demonstrated analytical, project management and tactical planning skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
GSA adjudication / clearance.
