Job Description

The Business Go To Market studio at US Bank is transforming how different departments at the bank work together to increase business customer acquisition and satisfaction. We’re looking for a Business Insights analyst to provide analytics support to the team and help us chart this new path.

Reporting to the Product Owner of Business Analytics and Insights within U.S. Bank’s Enterprise Analytics team, this individual will help uncover customer trends and transform those insights into marketing campaigns as part of an agile journey team. A successful candidate will be able to work independently to pull the data that will help guide this process. As U.S. Bank’s data architecture and analytics capabilities are rapidly expanding, a successful candidate will also have the ability to adapt to new data sources, visualization tools, and evolving reporting/analytical requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize both external and internal US Bank data sources to guide understandings of customer acquisition and attrition

  • Monitor campaign performance and present insights visually using Tableau, MS Excel, or SAS Visual Analytics

  • Assist on execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels (email, direct mail, website, etc.)

  • Work with analytics leads to identify potential audiences for future marketing campaigns

  • Develop and maintain relationships with other agile team members

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience

  • 4-5 years of statistical and/or data analytics experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Master’s degree in math, statistics, data science, or MBA

  • 2+ years coding in languages like SAS, SQL, R, and/or Python

  • Experience utilizing predictive models

  • Strong technical skills with the ability to extract, combine, organize, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

  • Experience working in the banking industry, marketing, and/or personalization

  • 2+ years of analytical experience with customer behavioral data leveraging a large multi-dimensional database

  • 1+ years summarizing analytics insights for non-analytical audiences

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $87,465.00 - $102,900.00 - $113,190.00
