Responsibilities

· Identify market opportunity for international payments for U.S. Bank from key customer segments

· Evaluate competitive and market trends in the money movement space

· Perform data analysis on product usage, customer segmentation

· Deliver a go-to-market plan to the leadership team

· Build collaborative relationships with other U.S. Bank employees

· Perform other associated duties as requested

Basic qualifications

· Pursuing a master’s level degree

Preferredqualifications

· Pursuing a master’s level degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics, or related analytical field with an interest in fintech

· Experience doing primary/secondary client and market research in a professional setting (2 years)

· Knowledge of fintech and payments ecosystem

· Experience in Tableau and familiarity with data analysis

· Comfortable with complex business processes, technical products, and services

· Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

· Ability to think and work independently with a professional demeanor and receive dynamic on-the-job training

· Highly organized and able to manage/prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

· Indisputable work ethic with a hands-on approach defined by a strong intellect, professional charisma, leadership skills, resiliency, and a track record of proven results

· Competency in Microsoft Office Suite

· Preferred experience or interest in global commerce, trade, innovation, and digital technologies with a desire to understand how international payments work

The internship position for which you’re applying may be placed under U.S. Bank’s subsidiary, Elavon. Elavon is wholly owned by U.S. Bank, the fifth-largest bank in the United States, and provides end-to-end payment processing solutions and services to more than 1.3 million customers in the United States, Europe, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. As the leading provider for airlines and a top five provider in hospitality, healthcare, retail and public sector/education, Elavon’s innovative payment solutions are designed to solve pain points for businesses from small to enterprise-sized.
