U.S. Bank Operations Manager / Financial Intermediary Department in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Job Description

Manage team leads/operations managers for GFS Operations responsible for maintaining financial intermediary relationships, and daily activity including mutual fund/Closed End/ETF trading, transaction processing, call servicing, sales and compliance reporting, reconciliation, fund and intermediary events and commissions. Ensure department and GFS service standards are achieved and maintained. Resolve financial intermediary issues and escalate to senior management as appropriate. Responsible for employee hiring, training, development, and coaching, including performance evaluations. Support Transfer Agent’s ISO 9001 culture through adherence of core values, process improvement suggestions, monitoring and tracking of Key Performance Indicators, and continuous and timely review of department documentation. In addition, may be required to assist with presentations for current and prospective clients.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in business-related field or equivalent financial operations work experience

  • Strong PC skills and application of various software (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Excellent communication and customer facing skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent follow through

  • Ability to plan, effectively prioritize multiple processes, and meet scheduled deadlines

  • Excellent time management and strong organizational skills

  • Proven leadership ability

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Minimum of seven years’ experience in the Financial Intermediary department

  • Experience in both project and client management

  • Excellent problem solving ability as well as ability to lead team during difficult situations

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

  • Thorough knowledge of all Transfer Agent and GFS departments and functions including FID dependencies/interactions

  • Strong presentation skills
