Job Description

U.S. Bank Global Fund Services provides value-added services to a robust and rapidly growing client base, which includes hedge funds, private equity funds, offshore funds, mutual funds, and other investment companies.

The Fund Administrator works as part of a team responsible for providing fund administration services to registered investment companies and advisers. Prepares financial statements and other financial information for fund administration clients, as assigned. Works with senior level Fund Administrators on compliance reporting to assigned clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements

  • Preparation of quarterly and annual filings with the SEC on Form 10-Q & Form 10-K

  • Preparations of quarterly SEC and IRS compliance testing

  • Preparation of financial support schedules provided for audits and tax reviews

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.

  • CPA certified or candidate a plus.

  • One or more years experience in fund accounting, fund administration, financial reporting or related field, i.e., public accounting.

  • Flexibility with work hours as required in supporting the clients' needs.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • General knowledge of Investments Company Act of 1940 and SEC filings, i.e., Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, etc.

  • Experience with closed-end and open-end registered funds preferred, Business Development Company ("BDC") experience a plus.

  • General knowledge and understanding of fund accounting, GAAP and the investment management industry.

  • Ability to successfully coordinate and follow through on large, long term projects.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications.
