Job Description

The Global Fund Custody Group (GFC) is a division within Fund Services. Typical types of collateral include broadly syndicated, middle market and private bank loans. The bank loan specialist works closely with internal groups as well as delivering a high level of customer service to the client directly. They adhere to strict business line Service Level Agreements and will focus on the support of clients who hold bank loan positions using the CDO Suite application.

The bank loan specialists’ responsibilities include tracking pending and settled bank loan trades; book cash inflows/outflows for each client account and reconcile daily; provide reports to the clients on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis; and respond to client or internal party requests in a timely fashion. The incumbent ensures 100% accuracy and timeliness of data through proper booking and reconciliation of account activity.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience

- Three or more years of experience in bank loan processing or loan administrative activities in the syndicated loan market

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Thorough knowledge of bank loan operational functions, systems, and procedures

- Intermediate level of experience in processing bank loan transactions globally

- Moderate credit agreement interpretation abilities and analytical skills

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills

- Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and meet established deadlines in a dynamic teamwork environment

- Strong customer relations, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications

- Basic knowledge of Wallstreet Office, SEI, and CDO Suite preferred
