The Company:

We are a leader in the Fund Administration space with the service centres including Luxembourg, Dublin, New York and Milwaukee and presently service multiple fund structures and investment strategies across several domiciles. US Bank Global Fund Services Luxembourg S.a.r.l (the “Company”) has been authorized by the CSSF to be licenced as a PSF offering fund administration, transfer agency, client communication and domiciliary agent activities to Luxembourg domiciled alternative investment fund structures and their SPV’s

The Role:

As Risk Analyst you will be responsible for partnering with assigned Line of Business, other Risk/Compliance/Audit (RCA) professionals, and RCA Managers , depending on their function to, , implement, maintain, review or oversee an effective Business Line Quality Assurance Program and Outsourcing Program for both PFS and Luxembourg Branch. Participates in projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable local laws and regulations. Identifies gaps and inform solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors. Identifies, responds and/or escalates risks as appropriate. Serves as a functional liaison between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the execution of Risk & Control Self Assessment (RCSA), Enterprise Compliance Risk Assessment (ECRA) and Business Line Quality Assurance (BLQA) testing activities within the WMIS CRO, first line organization.

Review and assess adequacy of controls, perform design effectiveness and operating effectiveness testing and report control gaps

Conduct test preparation, test execution and identification of RCSA/ECRA BLQA control and process weaknesses through testing activities.

Assess the impact of control weakness and propose changes to business line procedures or controls to improve any compliance gaps.

Maintain testing documentation and updates in ARCHER

Responsible for execution of Outsourcing program by leading / participating in periodic monitoring calls with the service provider, report results to governance forums and support in completing risk assessment / due diligence of new service providers.

Basic Qualifications:

- University degree in Finance, Economics or related fields

- 2-3 years of applicable experience ideally in a control function and / or with exposure in banking operations or with Big 4

Preferred Skills/Experience:

- Experience in risk control or audit of a financial institution with experience in operational oversight activities on fund administration processes

- Excellent written and face-to-face communication skills

- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory trends

- Manage conflicting demands and priorities through business line engagement, effective planning and sound judgement

- Personal and Interpersonal skills

- Advanced understanding of risks/controls

- Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies

- Strong analytical, process facilitation and project management skills

- Effective presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including - Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
