Job DescriptionOracle Developer We are seeking an Oracle Developer with development and system development life cycle (SDLC) experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives.In this role you will be part of the team established to configure and develop application systems using existing and emerging technology platforms, and consult with business users on requirements gathering, system design, configuration, and implementation.You'll be working closely with the Delivery Manager, IT development, and Architecture groups while collaborating with several lines of business.
As an Application / Oracle Developer you will:Participate in designing, coding, testing, implementation and documentation of solutions Develop, test, implement and support of application systems Participate in the definition of project tasks Perform change impact analysis tasks Assist in the creation of comprehensive unit test plans; create and execute test cases in line with test plans Design, code, test, debug, document, maintain, and modify computer programs of moderate complexity, significance, and risk Participate in investigation, analysis, and resolution of technical problems related to system functions, programming, and procedures Join in post-implementation reviews of both application development content and process to maximize and share learning Share in monitoring operating efficiency of existing systems Write documentation that describes installation and operating procedures Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience At least three years of experience with developing and implementing applications
Preferred Skills/ExperienceEssential:3+ years Oracle PL/SQL, SQL development 3+ years Oracle Forms experience Strong experience with Oracle Performance Tuning Ability to learn the business and understand how business processes are represented in the data model Background with version control and professional software development Desirable: Experience in the regulatory reporting space Data modelling experience Oracle APEX
Basic understanding in:Application design, architecture Modeling: data, process, events, objects Information management
Working experience in:Change control IT standards, procedures, policy Application testing System testing Application maintenance System development life cycle Application development tools
Extensive experience in:Implementation Programming
Ability:Excellent English language skills, verbal and written Proven ability to multi-task. Ability to communicate systems solutions or issues using appropriate language, both written and oral.
