Serves as a channel manager on the Ascent National Sales & Strategy Team, working with internal and external partners in our Western region. Cultivates and develops relationships with referral sources, through small and large group presentations, both virtually and in person. Reviews and qualifies prospective clients, effectively manages pipeline of opportunities and coaches partners to a successful introductory meeting. Markets externally to centers of influence to build brand awareness and generate new leads and introductions of prospective clients for Ascent. Works closely to seamlessly transition a prospective client to an Ascent Regional Office team member, providing background and research conducted. Works with Ascent Regional Managing Directors & Family Office Team to acquire new clients, consistent with the National Sales Strategy.

Basic Qualifications - BA/MBA in finance, accounting, or other related field, or equivalent work experience - 10 or more years of banking/wealth management/relationship management experience - Three or more years of channel management, sales coaching, and/or business development experience

Preferred Skills/Experience - Well-developed leadership abilities and strategic management skills - Well-developed verbal and written communication skills - Well-developed analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills - Considerable tact, diplomacy and people skills
