Job DescriptionRole Summary

Opayo is seeking a Senior Acquisition Marketing Manager to develop and execute a strategy for customer acquisition through integrated demand generation across all channels – including SEM, paid social, display, content syndication etc.

This is a very commercially focused role and is driving – alongside Sales –significant growth in the SMB and Mid Market segments. So we need someone who is data driven and results focused. The vast majority of acquisition is digital so the Senior Acquisition Marketing Manager is responsible for the Opayo website, digital and social channels. But also is someone who can quickly gain a deep understanding of our buyers’ journey and turn that into delivering the right message to the right buyer at the right time.

Main accountabilities Own the campaign execution plan for new customer acquisition with the goal of generating demand and meeting or exceeding pipeline and revenue targets Full channel acquisition with strong focus on SME digital acquisition through SEM, paid display and social to deliver lead flow, reporting Build brand awareness programmes deployed across multiple channels Website management, including managing for access and conversion optimisation, UX etc Content management, including content publishing, managing content through review rounds, ensuring SEO value etc Develop creative. Work with internal marketing teams and external agencies to develop market leading marketing content, campaign assets and sales enablement assets Development of nurture journeys using marketing automation (Pardot) and lead scoring and management Manage owned and industry event presence from messaging, development and logistics to execution and reporting Responsible for managing, updating, and reporting on the acquisition budget Track, measure, and report on the campaign performance against agreed-upon metrics – leading and lagging – to ensure efficiency of spend and maximisation of lead Work cross-functionally to identify gaps and action plans to course-correct as the campaign execution unfolds Build excellent working including those in Product, Product Marketing, Operations, Legal, and particularly – Sales. And peer networking across Opayo and Elavon marketing Leadership and development of a small internal team of two Management of an extensive agency network including strategic, creative, media, digital etc

Skills, know-how and experience 5+ years of demand generation marketing experience, ideally within the Payments ecosystem Demonstrated success with end-to-end campaign design, rollout, and project management Experience in audience analysis, messaging, content and journey mapping, program development, and measurement Experience with operations and marketing technology implementation and usage - SalesForce, Pardot, Google Analytics, Tableau etc Proven ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate with different teams to build plans and deliver campaigns. And demonstrable understanding of sales and marketing alignment Strong project management skills including managing internal stakeholders and marketing agencies Experience in working in a multi-national, matrixed organisation to develop marketing campaigns in partnership with multiple sales & marketing teams in remote locations

Qualifications needed Bachelor degree level or equivalent industry experience Marketing professional qualifications (CIM/IDDM) preferred
