Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager/Sr. Information Security Engineer to deliver program oversight for the Security Technology Engineering & Operations (STE&O) portfolio. We are seeking a highly effective and collaborative individual with a proven track record of delivering timely results across multiple technologies simultaneously.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate with ISS Portfolio Management team for annual technology planning and budget proposals.

  • Set annual budget forecast for STE&O and ensure adherence to plan, including monthly forecasting.

  • Understand and track license consumption and projected growth needs for current contracts.

  • Own the procurement lifecycle for all STE&O vendor relationships, including new engagements and renewals.

  • Manage vendor relations, including the leadership of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and SLA reviews.

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering teams to document Product Roadmaps.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science, or equivalent work experience

  • Five or more years of experience in information security

Experience Should Include:

The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded background with experience in Agile ways of working, program management, procurement, financial planning, and contract negotiation.

  • 3+ years experience with Product Management or portfolio management.

  • 3+ years experience with JIRA, Power BI

  • Familiarity with the regulatory, legal, and contractual requirements impacting financial institutions (e.g., FISMA, GLBA, SOX, GDPR, PSD2, SOC2, and PCI DSS).

  • Experience working with a technical team and/or proven ability to quickly learn and utilize technical concepts required

  • Demonstrable experience collaborating across teams and external partners.

  • 3+ years experience with budget planning, finance, and capital expense planning.

  • Skilled at communicating technical information to non-technical audiences and stakeholders at every level.

  • Ability to anticipate and overcome organizational challenges.

  • Skilled at balancing competing interests and requirements to deliver a working product.

  • Careful attention to detail

  • Advanced skills with MS-Office Products

  • Professional verbal and written skills

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $88,910.00 - $104,600.00 - $115,060.00
