U.S. Bank has an excellent opportunity for a Technology Risk professional to join a new role within our Technology and Operation Services group. You will be responsible for building out, and establishing a centralized governance approach.
Job Function and Responsibilities:
Provides risk management executive leadership to line of business by identifying, documenting, and implementing consistent processes for monitoring controls to mitigate risk.
Promotes general awareness of risk management policies and issues and coordinates efforts to foster awareness and understanding of key risk management concepts within the business line network.
Works with business line senior executives to lead the implementation of key risk management practices and procedures in the normal course of business operations.
Ensures that controls used to mitigate business risks are properly designed, executed, and documented.
Serves as a consult to ensure facilitation/oversight and response to inquiry/examination.
Serves as the organization’s key leader on risk processes and regulatory expectations monitoring all audit related activities along with interfacing with regulatory bodies to ensure successful completion of reviews aligning organizational activities to expected outcomes.
Tracks all resource requirements against a yearly demand from internal control reviews/updates, risk first line testing, internal audits, external exams, and external compliance reviews.
Ensures adequate awareness and coverage by all line of business teams to meet expected outcomes.
8+ years of banking experience that includes technology risk management
BA/MBA in related field.
10+ years of technology risk experience.
3+ experience directly managing operational technologies such as database, server, network, or IT operations/service management preferred.
Audit, and or Control Testing experience
Experience working with regulators
Well-developed leadership, people, and strategic management skills
Knowledge of banking business risks and mitigation strategies related to the financial/tech industry
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
Well-developed analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $140,930.00 - $165,800.00 - $182,380.00
