Job DescriptionCandidate will manage a team of Card Network Specialists with primary responsibilities to oversee the business relationship with the various debit and credit card networks (Visa, Mastercard, etc.); provide guidance to internal teams regarding acceptance best practices, mandated rules/requirements and card network changes related to new products and services; and ensure Elavon remains compliant with card network operating regulations. This role serves as a key liaison and escalation point between the card networks and Elavon. Knowledge and understanding of the acquiring payments market; ability to negotiate waivers and contracts; strong project manager and communication skills are all key to be successful in this position. The candidate will work with the card networks and internal stakeholders in support of mutually beneficial goals to improve, expand and enhance payments acceptance.
Basic Qualifications - Master's degree, or equivalent work experience - 10 or more years of experience in project management activities
Preferred Skills/Experience - Comprehensive knowledge of assigned business line or functional area - Demonstrated management and leadership skills - Strong organizational and analytical skills - Advanced knowledge of project management - Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
