Elavon is looking for a Product Leader to shape the future of Elavon’s Global Developer Experience. As the Developer Experience Leader, you will shape the long-term vision for our developer portal and developer experiences across Elavon and will be responsible for executing on that vision. Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, UX and 3rd Party Relations, you will enable faster customer launches and smoother user journeys via best-in-class developer enablement. You will also take the lead in ensuring that developer experience is a major competitive advantage for Elavon.
Assume end to end ownership of the Elavon Developer Experience with responsibility for delivery on Elavon’s North Star vision of a next generation, best-in-class Global Developer Experience Platform
Lead your product team in the delivery of delightful integration experiences to our clients and other 3rd party developers enabled via APIs, SDKs, developer sandbox, libraries, sample code and other popular options in the developer toolkit
Own the product roadmap and deliver on key metrics such as dev conversion rate, adoption time, and developer support operational metrics.
Serve as a developer advocate, collecting and disseminating relevant feedback and information to internal stakeholders
Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
Operationalize the launch of developer assets through the Developer Experience Platform in collaboration with the product, engineering, design & tech writer teams.
Monitor industry trends & methodology that provide detailed insights into the competitive landscape and best practices.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or another technical discipline
10+ years of combined product & engineering experience
- Experience in the payments or fintech domains; familiar with the payments cards, digital wallets, eCommerce, point of sale technology
Proven track record leading complex strategic initiatives, working through technical, operational, legal/policy and business issues
Experience in a developer relations, technology evangelism, sales engineering, or open source community advocacy role
Experience working with content management systems & API documentation
Ability to lead & influence at every phase of the product lifecycle from vision/ideation, to design & solution evaluation, to UX definition, to build, to GTM readiness & launch
Previous experience of operating in and delivering large scale technology transformation in a Cloud first, Microservice Design domain along with its associated methodologies & technologies
Deep knowledge & awareness of the Developer Experience platforming including emerging trends & technologies & a strong point of view on best practices
Technical expertise in the area of APIs, SDKs and modern technology integration methodologies & toolsets
Familiarity with roadmap & backlog management tools such as Jira, Version 1, Confluence, Aha etc.
Comfortable interfacing directly with enterprise architecture & software development teams to articulate product vision & priority focus and orchestrating release scheduling
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and keep multiple delivery streams moving simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $134,640.00 - $158,400.00 - $174,240.00
