Job DescriptionCreates and executes small project test plans on newly developed or acquired software to evaluate its capabilities versus system requirements and documented specifications. Creates and executes test cases/scripts, test reports and evaluations on all projects. Performs software testing, identifies defects and coordinates resolution and retesting. Executes regression testing on new software releases and reports discrepancies. Assists with technical support, software installation, problem solving and troubleshooting. Provides input to the Test Findings Report and Test Sign-off document. Uses enterprise standard testing scenarios and support tools to implement automated testing and support processes. Works with the business line and development team to understand requirements and design to prepare test plans and cases. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's of Science degree or equivalent work experience - At least one year of experience with designing, planning and execution of IT system testing strategies and tactics to ensure software quality at all stages of the system life cycle
Preferred Skills/Experience - Financial services industry experience - Familiarity with financial operations processes and/or business processes - Prepaid card knowledge - Basic knowledge of system testing, system development life cycle, IT environment, and IT standards, procedures and policy - Working experience in technical writing/documentation - Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
