Job DescriptionWe have an exciting Product Leader opportunity to join our Corporate Payment and Treasury Solutions (CPTS) within our Payment Services Division. This business line facilitates payment processing for our businesses globally.

The Role: The Group Product Manager will provide strategic product direction and leadership for the Transportation businesses of Freight Payment, Fleet, Aviation and Small Parcel solutions. The position will have direct leadership and managerial responsibility for leading product strategy, ideation, development, go to market delivery and marketing positioning. The position will have accountability for developing pricing strategies, P&L management and working with our technical development partners leading our agile roadmap planning and product development.

Responsibilities include collaborating with Operations, Sales and Relationship Management developing the strategic business plans, leading M&A activities for the Transportation organization. Additional responsibilities include identifying new and adjacent market opportunities, ensuring best in class customer experiences with our products enabling market share growth and reducing customer friction.


Champion the customer experience, using input from Voice of the Customer events, customer journey mapping interviews and direct customer engagement to help prioritize future investments in product development. Leads Agile Product Owners and Product Managers Effective in managing budgets and influence over P&L responsibilities. Be an active contributor to new client acquisition, promoting and supporting revenue growth. Evaluates market trends, legal/regulatory climate, competitive products, and more. Conducts research on product enhancements and new product offerings and presents findings and recommendations. Develops roadmap and requirements for new and existing products. Ensures cross-functional alignment of product roadmap and priorities. Manages competitive analysis and market research of competing products and services to identify customer needs and trends. Manages the on-going research to track, monitor and analyze product performance. Reviews risk data related to product line(s) and ensures risks are effectively monitored and managed. Ensures products meet state and Federal regulatory requirements while operating in accordance with U.S. Bank’s Policy & Procedures and coordinates legal review of all supporting collateral materials and documentation. Define product goals and metrics including key KPIs and OKRs. Direct management of seasoned product & marketing professionals with a commitment to recruiting and retaining our highly skilled & innovative workforce to continue being a leader in the Freight and Fleet payments space. Promote a culture of high employee engagement, promoting a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment. Leads M&A activities for the Transportation group. Leads the annual planning and capital investment (CapEx) activities on behalf of the Transportation group.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance / MBA or equivalent work experience. 10 + years of product management, financial services, management, payments experience.

Preferred Qualifications Thorough knowledge of the competitive payments market, and industry trends. Prior experience in transportation payments industry is highly desirable. Experienced in leading agile product teams to deliver on strategic product enhancements and launch new product. Considerable knowledge of product development, product launch and implementation. Proficient in competitive analysis and data analytics. Self-motivated self-starter who can easily take command of an audience of senior executive leaders. Strong leadership abilities, strategic thinking/management skills, and the ability to drive innovation. Excellent management, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff and executive management. Collaborate with a cross-functional team to gain commitment, trust and support developing the strategic product and feature roadmaps.
