Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop critical features and components

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to build and evolve application capabilities that meet the technical, product, and business objectives

  • Identify and select the right tools and frameworks for the job

  • Contribute to all phases of the SDLC, including planning, implementation, testing, and support for production.

  • Be an owner and a champion of application quality, performance, and integrity

  • Be customer focused

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Five to six years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Worked as full stack engineer, demonstrating strength in both Frontend and Backend

  • Firm grasp of Java, using both object-oriented and functional techniques

  • Firm grasp of creating and integrating with RESTful API solutions using Java

  • Ability to influence cloud-based architectures in AWS

  • Ability to troubleshoot AWS systems

  • Firm grasp of ORM technologies and Hibernate

  • Firm grasp of frontend technologies, demonstrating the ability to develop UI features from scratch

  • Firm grasp of modern frontend frameworks, such as React or Angular2

  • Firm grasp of frontend tooling such as JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, and HTML

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent ability to coordinate with Product Managers

  • Experience in financial services, payments, or processing is a plus

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $116,280.00 - $136,800.00 - $150,480.00
