About the team

The AIML team works on building the AI platform that enables data scientists across U.S. Bank to work on projects involving machine learning, data analysis, and data engineering. Tech stack being used includes Zero to Jupyterhub with Kubernetes (z2jk), Argo Workflows, MLFlow, Spark. The team mainly works with open-source code and uses python.

What you will do:

  • Modernize and maintain the U.S. Bank AI platform

  • Customize and deploy open-source applications such as Zero to Jupyterhub with Kubernetes (z2jk), Argo Workflows

  • Collaborate with Data Scientists to productionalize models

  • Work with relevant business lines to ensure effective architectures and designs

  • Monitor model performance over time to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Adhere to best practices for development within the Agile framework

  • Adhere to source control guidelines

  • Follow the SDLC process

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience

Required Technical Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications using Python and Node.js

  • 6+ years of experience in developing REST APIs in Python using Flask or Django framework and good to have GraphQL / Swagger implementation knowledge

  • 4+ years of experience in writing unit tests using pytest and unittest framework

  • 4+ years of experience in building CI/CD pipelines using Cloudbees/Jenkins

  • Strong coding, debugging, algorithm design and problem-solving skills in Python or equivalent

  • Nice to have experience with tools like Jupyter Hub, Jupyter Lab, MLFlow, TensorFlow, Scikit, Apache Spark, Kafka

  • Experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models on public cloud, preferably on Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Argo workflows

  • Experience in Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm Charts

  • Experience with training and tuning models in Machine Learning

  • Familiarity with Conda, PyPi, and Node.js package builds

  • Experience with industry open-source projects in large dataset, jupyter, spark, flink, tensorflow etc.

  • Agile/Scrum team environment

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $134,640.00 - $158,400.00 - $174,240.00
