About the team

This team does all aspects of the SDLC, build, analysis, testing for Default Servicing for U.S. Bank Home Mortgage, with a focus on the early resolution platform. It is a workflow-based system that allows a loan to process from start to finish for loss mitigation for default servicing.

What you'll do

Manage multiple development projects, development teams, and/or application support functions. Recruit, direct, motivate and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Oversee the development and implementation of multiple, complex, organization-wide systems. Work closely with client departments in development and implementation of technology strategies and application systems. Advise application owners on the technology possibilities and requirements. Provide direction and oversight for application support functions to ensure quality processing while meeting or exceeding application service level commitments. Define and manage resource requirements and allocations, monitor and improve quality, and ensure 'best practice' development techniques. Interface with clients to ensure application systems and projects are meeting or exceeding their expectations. Provide direction and manages resolution of applications issues. Plan, develop and control project/product budgets.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Ten or more years of experience with developing and implementing applications

  • Four or more years of experience with major tasks, deliverables, formal methodologies and disciplines for delivering new or enhanced applications

  • Leadership Experience (formal or informal)

  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Managing offshore team members

  • Capacity Planning

  • Early Resolution Experience

  • Azure DevOps and SQL Server skills

  • IT service and project management

  • Information management
