Job Description
This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles. #LI-REMOTE
Essential Responsibilities:
Salesforce DevOps Engineer responsible for implementing scalable solutions including continuous delivery, optimization, monitoring, release management and support the end to end release process. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
What you will do
Ensure all Salesforce updates made seamlessly move from development through staging to production.
Work on Salesforce platform production deployments
Consistently create optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs.
Embraces emerging technology opportunities and contributes to the best practices in support of the bank's technology transformation.
Look for opportunities to simplify product and technical design
Communicate processes and results with all parties involved in the product team, including engineers, product owner, scrum master, third party vendors and customers
Review tasks critically and ensure they are appropriately prioritized and sized for incremental delivery.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Three to five years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Hands on experience with Salesforce CLI
Working knowledge of Checkmarx, Fortify, SonarQube, Black Duck etc.
Experience with integrating code scanning into CI/CD pipeline
Working knowledge of scripting and coding such as, Python, Shell/BASH scripting, Apex and Groovy
Experience with CI/CD Tools ( Git, Sourcetree, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Ant, and Bamboo )
Experience with environment Management Tools, Salesforce Dev Sandbox provisioning and deployments.
Thorough understanding of a feature, the users impacted, the flows impacted and feature's purpose
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred certifications: Admin and/or Developer certification
