U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Technical Portfolio Manager with strong program management and planning experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. This role will report to Enterprise Architecture’s (EA) Head of Strategy & Execution to drive results across EA’s most critical programs and products. In this role, you will drive the success of critical work supporting our cloud migration. You will partner with the Head of Strategy & Execution to shape EA’s long-term strategy in your respective area, then deliver on that strategy. What you will do:
Lead the execution of critical, high complexity Enterprise Architecture programs
Partner with project managers and scrum masters to develops detailed work plans, training plans, budget, issues list, and status reports related to the project
Work with the Head of Strategy & Execution to lead the development of OKRs; tracks team OKRs in an Agile environment
Analyze skillset requirements for their program to determine appropriate resourcing for successful program outcomes
Ensure effective communication flow among business process owners, project team members, and all IT functions who participate in and who will inherit the results of the program
Set frequency and type of interactions, extent of involvement of stakeholders, and the process to resolve disputes
Report on project progress and recommends management alerts when conditions warrant and communicates those facts up the chain
Understand technology transformation strategy and support accomplishment of technology objectives, OKRs (objectives and key results), customer needs, KPIs (key performance indicators), and financial targets
Is recognized as an expert within the organization and in-depth and breadth of expertise in own discipline including agile and program management
Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or business
8+ years’ experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring, and controlling IT programs
5+ years’ experience within an information technology (IT) environment
Highly proficient / Expert working in an Agile Enterprise Technology environment
Highly proficient / Expert working with JIRA
Experience with the design, development, and support of technology infrastructure
In leu of above experience, 3+ years at a top tier management consulting firm or top tier technology strategy experience, post-graduate degree
Master’s degree or PhD in computer sciences or business
PMI Project Management Professional credential
Working experience in Systems Management
Experience working in a Product-driven organization
Work experience with Cloud Migration

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $115,005.00 - $135,300.00 - $148,830.00
