Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Segmentation and Data Science Lead to join our Credit Cards Marketing Analysis team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data science, segmentation strategies and analytics within the credit card industry. The candidate will be responsible for leading a team, developing and implementing cutting-edge models and tools, and working closely with the audience and analytics team to provide insights to drive actionable marketing strategies.Successfully conceptualize, develop and deploy advanced analytics solutions to analyze customer behavior, predict trends, and optimize marketing strategies.

  • Successfully conceptualize, develop and deploy advanced analytics solutions to analyze customer behavior, predict trends, and optimize marketing strategies.

  • Develop and implement advanced analytics approaches including statistical modelling and machine learning techniques such as XGBoost, Decision Tree, Clustering techniques, Time-series etc. Help build and refine customer segments based on various criteria such as demographics, behavior, and transactional patterns

  • Analyze big data (structured and unstructured) and understand trends to provide actionable insights that impact business bottom line across the range of analytics initiatives- Customer Acquisition, Credit Behavior, Cross-Sell / Upgrade Propensity Models, Customer Lifetime Value.

  • Digital and Offline Analytics: Utilize data analytics techniques to analyze both digital and offline customer interactions and campaign performance.

  • Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong inter-personal and management skills to manage a team as well as collaborate with marketing, product, and other cross-functional teams collectively drive towards business goals.

  • Display strong storytelling and articulation skills to convert complex analytical output into clear, concise insights across a breadth of audience.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay abreast on industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in the credit cards analytics space

Required Skills/Experience:

  • The qualified candidate must have at least a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Business Administration

  • Turnkey data science experience from model conception, build to deployment and maintenance

  • Familiarity with click-stream data and ability to use digital interaction and MTA data for analytics and segmentation

  • Working with: SAS, Python, R, SQL;Customer Segmentation using Classification and Clustering Techniques

  • Strong knowledge of Data Governance while developingmodels.

Hybrid/flexible schedule:

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $145,180.00 - $170,800.00 - $187,880.00
