Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Information Security Specialist with demonstrated competence and visionary leadership experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Provides technical expertise in development and support of all activities, processes, and tools for protecting technology-based information. Leads enterprise-wide definition, establishment, and maintenance of data, security-related infrastructure, applications, and processes. Provides technical support to clients, management, security administrators, and network operations. Reviews, develops, tests, and implements security plans, products, and control techniques. Reviews circumstances surrounding data security incidents and designs corrective actions. Documents security policies and procedures. Provides implementation support for risk assessment and data security procedures and products. Evaluates new and proposed security systems and technologies.

Basic Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent industry experience and certifications

  • Three to five years of relevant experience in cybersecurity

Preferred Skills/Experience

Certified Information System Security Professional

Work with development and technical teams to secure applications using Safeguard and Xypro utilities in the guardian and OSS environments on the HP NonStop systems.

Work with the Risk Management team to harden the HP NonStop environments to meet business needs.

Manage and provide evidence for monthly audit reports and annual audit reviews.

Install/upgrade Xypro utilities/applications used at U.S. Bank and manage all configuration files associated with the products.

Manage and secure system and application access automation tools.

Work with Access Management teams on entitlement reviews and management.

Technical writing/documentation

Change control

Product and vendor evaluation

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $99,365.00 - $116,900.00 - $128,590.00
