Job DescriptionThe Default Litigation Case Manager will be responsible for providing project and analytical support for litigated matters stemming from the consumer and mortgage portfolio. This includes hiring legal counsel to ensure U.S. Bank is properly represented on matters where collateral may be affected. The Litigation Case Manager will perform research, analysis, and maintain well-written case summaries to ensure business line visibility and understanding. The Litigation Case Manager will be responsible for escalating cases when appropriate along with ensuring compliance with settlement agreements. Litigation Case Manager will be comfortable communicating with all levels of management and ensures attorney-client work privilege is always maintained.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

Two to three years of experience in project management activities

Additional Skills Paralegal Certificate or Degree

Familiarity with mortgage or consumer litigation

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Thorough knowledge of consumer and mortgage products and services

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong organization and time-management skills

Preferred Skills/Experience Basic knowledge of assigned business line or functional area

Well-developed organizational and analytical skills

Thorough knowledge of project management

Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
