Job DescriptionAt PFM Asset Management we partner with public sector, non-profit and other institutions to build tailored, flexible investment solutions across fixed income and multi-asset strategies. We focus our efforts on liquidity management, investment grade fixed income and outsourced chief investment officer (OCIO) solutions. We are seeking a money market portfolio manager to be a member of our short-duration portfolio management team which is responsible for managing taxable fixed income portfolios (approximately $50 billion AUM) for public sector clients. The portfolio manager will participate with other members of the team in developing investment strategies with a focus on liquidity management. The team is then responsible for implementing that strategy in managing both pooled (LGIP) and individual portfolios (SMAs). This position is part of a larger investment team of over 15 traders and portfolio managers who manage a combined $110 billion of fixed income assets across the yield curve. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and collaborative skills are essential, along with a strong work ethic. This position will be based in our Harrisburg, PA office, with minimal or no travel expected.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and credentialed (CFA, MBA) investment professional with a proven track record of success in the institutional fixed income markets. Experience in the money market space is strongly preferred. This individual must possess outstanding quantitative and analytical skills, and expert knowledge of the fixed-income markets, portfolio management, portfolio construction methodologies and performance attribution.
