Responsibilities Include:

  • Determines the appropriate information needed for use in performing a credit quality analysis (e.g., credit reports, industry research, external debt ratings, financial statements, tax returns, etc.).

  • Investigates all available sources of credit and financial information including reporting services, credit bureaus, other companies and current files and obtains data from those sources.

  • Analyzes and interprets credit quality information for a prospective loan or line of credit. Prepares and presents credit reports to person(s) responsible for making risk rating and or lending decisions on new, renewal and extension loans.

  • Monitors customer accounts and portfolios to detect changes that might affect their credit standing. Prepares and presents credit reports to person(s) responsible for maintaining control over the credit standings of individual accounts and portfolios.

  • Prepares specialized reports on loan quality/portfolio quality.

  • Performs economic and industry analyses, financial projections, and risk assessments.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Finance or Accounting preferred), or equivalent work experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Credit and financial statement assessment skills

  • Understanding of and ability to review financial statements

  • Excellent software applications skills, primarily Excel and Powerpoint

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Preferred ‘May/June 2020 grads’

  • Position to be filled in June 2020
