Job Description

U.S. Bank is looking for Information Security Engineer. The individual will be responsible for:

Managing Certificate Administration on a daily basis including but not limited to: renewing certificates from approved Certificate Authorities, revoking certificates, reviewing and approving certificate requests, managing certificate inventories in the current certificate management tools including Venafi and ENKI. Patching and upgrading of Venafi certificate management tool. DR exercising of Venafi and Active Directory Certificate Services. Maintaining WNES and NDES servers on an as needed basis. Assist with migration of certificates from ENKI to Venafi. Assist with new project efforts of certificate automation for cloud and other devices. Implements and supports solutions/technologies: network proxies, intrusions, detection/prevention systems, remote access, second factor authentication, security event monitoring, infrastructure and system hardening, patch deployment and vulnerability management. Performs the daily operation and execution of security-related tools, processes and controls related to cyber defense initiatives. Helps coordinate and drive remediation of identified risks and control deficiencies. Looks for ways to optimize security processes and recommend opportunities and solutions for improvement and automation. Serves as technical and function subject matter expert across multiple security domain areas, raising awareness and communicating security risks within the company. Supports and participates in incident response and technical investigations as needed. Ensures adherence to compliance regulations and policies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science, or equivalent work experience

  • Five or more year of experience in information security

  • Two or more years of experience in IT infrastructure management, application architecture, risk management, middleware technology, and IT project management

Experience should include:

  • Previous system administration of Linux and Windows Server OS is highly desred

  • Previous PKI administration is a plus.

  • Previous Venafi experience is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of IT environment including s ervice-oriented and IT architecture, industry trends and direction, system and technology integration, and IT standards, procedures and policies, and emerging technologies

  • Basic knowledge of IT audit and control, governance, asset management, software licensing, product and vendor evaluation, and training delivery

  • Extensive knowledge of technical troubleshooting

  • Working knowledge of IT systems management including change control, software process improvement, and technical writing/documentation

  • Basic knowledge of information assurance

  • Working knowledge of information security architecture, security technologies, administration, audits, network and internet security, and computer crime

  • Working proficiency of various technology tools

  • Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with co-workers, customers and management

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $88,655.00 - $104,300.00 - $114,730.00
