Responsible for managing programs and projects for a large and complex business line or for major projects that cross several business lines.
Typically works with senior level business line managers to formulate project scope.
Manages a large department where results are accomplished through assigned Project Managers.
Projects generally take over twelve months to complete.
Has an expert level of knowledge of business function and technical skills; mortgage servicing experience required.
Recognized as an expert in multiple project areas.
Typically has a master’s degree and over ten years of related experience.
Ability to manage, prioritize, plan, develop, and implement multiple complex enterprise-wide programs to ensure achievement of overall organizational goals within timeline and budget constraints
Skill to oversee the completion of multiple individual projects to achieve one bigger, overarching goal; when different projects are dependent on one another, it can be a challenge to keep them organized and this is where program managers shine
Highly skilled professional to help organization stay on schedule, in scope, and ultimately on an upward trajectory of success and growth
Must have mortgage servicing background to understand the technologies and regulatory requirements involved with the projects
Lead programs with strong attention to strategy, implementation and delegation
Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives and adhere to organizational objectives
Ability to manage change and take active role in risk- based decisions
Ability to utilize project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklists, project scheduling software
Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
Identify opportunities to automate or streamline processes, focus on driving efficiency and improvements

Senior level interpersonal skills such as influence management and ability to proactively engage a virtual, cross-organizational team, without formal direction
Responsible for ensuring appropriate engagement from project managers, business unit leaders, compliance, risk, legal and vendors throughout project lifecycle; provide critical direction
Possess the ability to lead and motivate people, effectively delegate, encourage teamwork, and build strong rapport with senior management
Work with direct reports to promote project success that aligns with the values culture and brand of the bank
Ability to command meetings with confidence that identifies you as the single point of contact for program / project needs and knowledge.
Ability to prioritize and manage project deliverables and resources; utilizing situational leadership to manage varying skillsets
Partner and thought leadership to identify areas of opportunities as well as strategic solutions with key stakeholders
Work independently with little to no supervision.
Ability to expertly manage conflict and negotiate within program
Ability to define, set, and communicate cadence required to drive program /project success.
Ability to effectively interact and communicate with senior level executives (written/verbal) with a high level of confidence, including timely escalation of risk to senior leaders.
Consistent distribution and communication of status decks (4-boxers), including an ability to expand beyond standard form and formatting as needed.
Ability to facilitate and lead productive meetings, drive discussions that elicit feedback, and define roles and responsibilities to hold for accountability.
Ability to understand and communicate “big picture”. Ability to communicate upstream and downstream impacts and demonstrate the capacity to solicited feedback from project stakeholders.

Create clear and timely project documentation & artifacts (i.e. SharePoint, plans, process flows, evidence, charters, requirements, schedules etc.)
Issue/Risk Management expertise

Expertise and consistent use of project management methodologies and SDLC including Waterfall and Agile
Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
10 or more years of experience in project management activities
Two or more years of managerial experience
Expert knowledge of assigned business line or functional area
