Job Description

U.S. Bank is currently seeking a Sr. Fund Administrator, who will be responsible for the preparation of SEC regulatory and financial statement filings, Board of Directors' reporting, and other financial information for Fund Administration Department clients as assigned. Additional responsibilities include:

• Works with senior-level Fund Administrators on regulatory compliance reporting for assigned clients;

• Acts as the primary contact with fund clients, including coordination of financial projects;

• Prepares quarterly and annual financial statements;

• Prepares quarterly and annual filings with the SEC on Form 10-Q & Form 10-K;

• Prepares quarterly SEC and IRS compliance testing;

• Prepares financial support schedules provided for audits and tax reviews; and

• Reviews and oversees work prepared by Fund Administrators.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

  • Five to seven years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, financial reporting, or related field, i.e., public accounting

  • CPA certified or candidate a plus

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • General knowledge of Investment Company Act of 1940 and SEC filings, i.e., Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, etc.

  • Experience with closed-end and open-end registered funds and Business Development Company (“BDC”) experience

  • General knowledge and understanding of fund accounting, GAAP, and the investment management industry

  • Ability to successfully coordinate and follow through on large, long-term projects

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
