Job Description • Responsible for overseeing operations for traditional, in-store and on-site retail branches within a CBB market. • Independently makes time sensitive, risk-based decisions of significant financial or other considerations (such as wire transfers up to $10MM and procedure overrides.) • Consults with branches to provide effective risk management in compliance with applicable regulations, policies and procedures • Provides consultation for resolution of complex or escalated customer complaints or situations. • Sets the standard for partnership with branch leaders; solicits feedback to improve quality of delivery; is actively involved to ensure a healthy, productive partnership. • Provides enhanced training and on-boarding for new hires. • Promotes a culture of collaboration- uniting with team members across functional areas- and keeping the customer at the center. • Embraces and role models a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and developing opportunities for efficiency. • Advocates on behalf of branches for customer-obsessed improvements across the bank. • Partners with internal Security groups to assist or respond to critical incidents. • Communicates with impact, directly and remotely, using strong presentation and influencing skills. • Consults with internal and external partners to provide analyses of legal cases involving the Bank. Scope • Providing operational support for districts and branches in a CBB market • Geographic scope: all or group of branches within a CBB market Hierarchy • Reports to the Market Operations Leader • Works closely with District Managers Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Banking. • 5+ years of retail banking experience Preferred Qualifications • Solid understanding of all relevant banking regulations including Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, Patriot Act, Fair Lending. • Demonstrates impactful consultative skills and is the subject matter expert • Customer obsessed- ability to make quick decisions that evaluates the risk between the customer and the bank • Proven success at developing and executing strategies in alignment with overall business objectives • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain healthy, productive partnership • Experience leading teams through organizational change • Well-developed analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills. • Considerable tact and diplomacy • Has a continuous improvement mindset and is experienced in working in an agile environment. • Sets a positive ethical culture
