US Bank Global Fund Services is a global market leader in Fund Administration. With a focus on technology driven solutions, US Bank Global Fund Services Ireland Ltd. adopts a client centric service model, where all aspects of NAV production are delivered from City Quay in Dublin 2. As a result, employees gain excellent experience encompassing all services associated with servicing open/closed-end alternative investment hedge/private equity funds.
We are looking for the best talent to continue to grow our organisation with challenging, dynamic roles and excellent career prospects and currently hiring for a Senior Fund Accountant to join the team.
Responsibilities:
Accurate and timely production of theNetAsset Value per unit that’s is used forInvestordeals and external publication
Analytical viewof eachportfolioto determine andvalidatethe positions/trades that cause the largestimpacton the NAV movements and investigate accordingly
Ensure all positions are priced accordingly
Verifycorporate actionshave been processed accurately
Processing of periodic fund distributions
Detaileddaily/monthly review of funds
Liaise and assist withauditqueries on annualfinancialaccounts
Perform and review daily cash, manager and counterparty position and MVreconciliations
Co-ordinate with other departments on miscellaneous fund queries andreconciliations
Liaise directly with clients, ensuring a consistently high standard of service
Training of new staff
Proactively manage daily reconciling items using appropriate internal and clientescalationcontrols
Processing ofaccountingtransactions onvaluationssystem
Review of all processes with a view to streamlining and creatingefficiency
Requirements:
Degree in Business orFinancerelateddiscipline
Minimum 2 yearsfund accountingbackground with experience in Alternative/Mutual/Hedge funds
Ability to demonstratesupervisoryand review experience with the daily reconciliation and NAV process
High level ofnumeracy
Goodorganisational skillsandattention to detail
ExcellentPC skills–knowledge ofMicrosoft WordandExcel
Self-motivatedandproactive
Communicativewith the ability to work well within a team
Knowledge of Advent Geneva an advantage
