U.S. Bank Payments Test Lead in Dublin, Ireland

Job Description

Principle Tasks:

  • Be point of contact for scheme and application testing activities including CHAPS, TARGET2, Faster Payments, SWIFT and EBA – potential out of hours testing.

  • Compile and submit the weekly mandatory reporting on test results and out of scope testing.

  • Assist with the annual CHAPS, TARGET 2 and Faster Payments scheme assurance certification as required.

  • Monitor and action all incoming SWIFT messaging.

  • Provide support and back up to Cash Management Reporting & Analysis activities and projects.

  • Collaborate in managing all bank account signatories (200+) and bank account mandates with counterparty banks.

  • Ensure all bank account static data on the Treasury Management System is current and update for new and closed bank accounts, where required.

  • Provide timely and accurate daily, weekly and monthly reporting.

  • Input settlement activity of the bank including payments, confirmations, and queries.

  • Ensure Cash Management operations are within all regulatory and internal policies of the Bank, including intraday reporting for ILAAP and Wire Transfer Procedures.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Previous Cash Management/Treasury experience preferable.

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the day-to-day functioning of a Cash Management department, including front and back office activities.

  • Understanding of how financial market infrastructure operates.

  • Direct Clearing processes (Target2 / BoE/SEPA) - a distinct advantage.

  • Strong IT, payments, SWIFT messaging and banking infrastructure knowledge.

Skills/Disposition

  • Strong compliance and procedural focus.

  • Strong MS Excel skills required.

  • MS Powerpoint skills preferable.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills required

  • Ability to work on own initiative when required

  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple activities with competing deadlines.

  • Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with customers, other banks and other bank personnel.
