Job Description

We have a newly created position to be part of the Global Fund Custody team as an onboarding specialist. You will provide hands-on support to customers/clients with their onboarding needs, as well as guidance and education throughout the onboarding process and their experience.

As a Specialist, you will manage onboarding events and establish new, Investment Services accounts of various sizes. These accounts are established to custody assets of mutual funds and investment portfolio accounts.

As a Specialist, you will be accountable for the following:

  • Effectively support the Business Development Officers by participating in prospect client presentations regarding the custody onboarding process

  • Effectively support our partner investment advisor relationships by participating in onboarding calls and partner with Global Fund Custody Management to ensure smooth transition from onboarding to ongoing support

  • Serve as an escalation point for clients

  • Instruct the opening and setup of accounts to be established in the system of record. Instruct establishment of fees for new accounts

  • Communicate efforts and status updates to Relationship Managers and Regional Coordinators, escalating as needed

  • Ensure appropriate new account documentation is retained in house and maintains client profile information.

Please note this is a client onboarding role and not an AML/KYC role and we are hoping to find someone who ideally will bring some knowledge of client onboarding / account management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Four to six years of job-related experience - custody experience would be highly beneficial.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Knowledge of account management, trust operations, project management, and legal regulations

  • Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • We offer a hybrid working model which is 3 days in the office and 2 from home with the role being based in our Cherrywood office in the South of Dublin
