Job Description
Asset Liability Management (ALM) Treasury Analyst
Key Function
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Asset Liability team responsible for all ALM functions within the bank.
Principal Accountabilities:
Management of securities portfolio in line with company policy.
Analysis of FX Balance sheet exposures and reporting on impact through P&L.
Oversight of IRRBB through earnings and EVE scenario driven stresses.
Pricing new and existing business line deposits
Month end review and reporting of Net Interest Income
Identifying areas for process improvement and automation
Assist with the development of Treasury Management System function and reporting.
Support ad-hoc regulatory requests pertaining to ALM activity.
Supporting projects as required
Knowledge and Experience:
Experience/Qualifications
Minimum two years ALM/treasury experience.
Knowledge of Bond market, FX and Interest rate risks an advantage.
Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Skills/Disposition
Strong (internal) customer focus.
Strong MS Excel skills required.
Strong system knowledge, Bloomberg, FIS Quantum an advantage.
Financial modelling an advantage.
Detail focused and ability to problem solve.
Independent and self-driven, committed to task completion within deadlines.
Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple activities with competing deadlines.
The ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization
