Job DescriptionStrategic Risk Analyst will be primarily responsible for developing strategic recommendations to maximize return on investment and / or reduce Net Credit Losses.

More specifically, the Strategic Risk Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data in all collection channels to optimize segmentation and execution, increase the likelihood of contact or payment, implement collection programs to achieve a desired outcome, increase digital engagement and self-service adoption, and build strategies based on customer channel preference.

A Strategic Risk Analyst must produce ad-hoc analytics and strategic recommendations based on empirical data primarily derived from A/B Testing.

Analyst will also produce general performance tracking to validate strategies, analyze trends, and serve as a baseline for KPI reporting.

This position will be very data intensive and will require the use of statistical tools to efficiently query, manipulate, analyze and compile data into meaningful results.

The position will also require coordination with multiple teams across the organization to efficiently deliver strategic solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Seven to 10 years of applicable experience
  • Applicable professional certifications

Preferred Skills/Experience

• 5+ years of collections experience • 5+ years of strategic development experience • 5+ years of coding experience using tools such as PC SAS or Toad for Oracle / Data Point • Well-developed analytical skills • Proven ability to efficiently query and manipulate large amounts of data into meaningful results • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills • Ability to succinctly communicate results to all levels of management • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations • Ability to collaborate and coordinate with colleagues across the organization

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $92,735.00 - $109,100.00 - $120,010.00
