Job DescriptionSenior Operations Leader (West Coast)
U.S. Bank is hiring for a Senior Operations Leader in the West Coast within CBBO. This person will be responsible for the overall operational performance of an assigned business line. The ideal candidate develops group-wide business plans, makes policies and ensures compliance, handles personnel matters, and evaluates and improves operational methods and strategies to improve efficiency. He/she also ensures and manages sufficient technological resources, and acts as liaison to other internal and external groups.
Job Scope: Manages a team of 7 or more Market Operations Leaders Indirectly leads team of 35 plus FTE Geographic scope: All branches within assigned region/division executive territory (average 400 branches) May be partnered with more than one executive leader
Additional Responsibilities: Responsible for leading branch-focused operations for traditional, in-store and on-site retail branches within assigned Metro or Community bank territory(ies). Develops group-wide business plans; communicates and ensures execution is in alignment with overall strategy. Leads talent management activities and ensures team is operating at optimal performance levels. Sets the standard for partnership with branch leaders; solicits feedback to improve quality of delivery; is actively involved to ensure a healthy, productive partnership. Actively ensures compliance with all applicable regulations as well as U.S. Bank policy and procedures through excellent communication; issue identification and resolution; as well as monitoring practices. Promotes a culture of collaboration- uniting with team members across functional areas- and keeping the customer at the center. Drives change leadership and efficiency through the leveraging of automation and analytics; the employment of continuous improvement practices; and by maintaining consistency across all markets. Crisis Management coordination. Leads closing branch decommissioning & new branch launch activities. Effectively manages risk through close alignment with first, second, and third line risk organizations. Regularly oversees and/or participates in enterprise-wide projects and initiatives.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Banking. 8+ years of management experience 10+ years of retail banking and operations experience Solid understanding of all relevant banking regulations including Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, Patriot Act, Fair Lending.

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $126,650.00 - $149,000.00 - $163,900.00
