Job Description

As a Relationship Manager, you manage relationships with Commercial clients. Grows revenue as directed by senior management by successfully prospecting for new business and retaining and expanding existing customer relationships. Approves loans within assigned limits, manages loan and portfolio credit quality, sources prospects in the Healthcare industry and develops new customer relationships. Provides financial advice to customers and sells appropriate bank products and services to those prospects and clients and makes appropriate referrals.

How you’ll spend your time:

  • Building portfolio with emphasis on net new business within the healthcare industries and implementing and maintaining an effective referral network and call program to promote sales.

  • Build strong partnerships with all banking partners such as Treasury Management, Merchant Solutions, Capital Markets (credit products).

  • Daily utilization and updating of Salesforce as a CRM tool.

  • Identifying business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services.

  • Presenting to prospective clients informing them of benefits of using the organization's products and services to meet their needs.

  • Mid-market Healthcare Includes both non-profit and for-profit with business revenue ranging from $50M to $1B.

Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 or more years of commercial lending experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience working in the healthcare industry is a must.

  • Experience working in middle market with $50M to $1B + in revenue size is required.

  • Strong relationship management and business development/sales skills.

  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Considerable knowledge of credit and credit quality.

  • Thorough knowledge of bank products and services.

  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships.

  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

  • This role requires occasional traveling to meet with clients on average 30%.

Location:

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside of the location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $135,150.00 - $159,000.00 - $174,900.00
