Job DescriptionResponsible for analyzing project and sponsor financial information (both historical and projected) and making recommendations to the person(s) making the final lending decisions on new, renewal and extension loans to approve or deny the extension of credit. Conducts complete credit analyses including gathering, analyzing and interpreting all types of credit information on existing and prospective customers. Performs detailed market analyses to evaluate the feasibility of proposed projects and monitor new potential market weaknesses impacting in the existing portfolio. Conducts detailed quarterly trend analyses on a large portfolio of secured investor real estate projects spanning office, industrial, retail, multifamily, and specialty product types, and reports findings to senior leadership in a live setting. Acts as the front line in the ongoing management of large portfolios in order to identify, evaluate and determine the appropriate course of action on potential credit quality issues in order to maximize credit quality and minimize risk and potential loss to the company. Performs periodic tests of covenant compliance with a high level of scrutiny and close attention to detail in order to ensure projects and sponsors are meeting financial covenants which must be calculated in strict adherence to legal documentation requirements. Frequently tasked with participation in various special projects and task forces outside of core responsibilities.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Five to seven years of experience in credit analysis and/or lending activities
Preferred Skills/Experience - Excellent credit analysis and analytical skills, ideally with a focus in commercial real estate lending - Thorough knowledge of credit administration, policy and procedures in a national banking platform - Strong organizational skills and an ability to operate with a close attention to detail - Ability to work with a dynamic and diverse team of individuals and balance multiple priorities - Excellent verbal and technical writing skills, particularly with senior leadership - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel strongly preferred, as well as experience with other Microsoft Office applications

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $71,740.00 - $84,400.00 - $92,840.00
