U.S. Bank Senior Data Analyst - Multiple Locations in Dallas, Texas

Job DescriptionResponsible for working on big data/analytics projects that gather and integrate large volumes of data to perform analysis, interpret results and develop actionable insights and recommendations for use across the company. Acquires data from multiple data sources, specifically mainframe, WebFOCUS, and emerging distributed database platforms, in order to perform analysis. Identifies, analyzes and interprets trends or patterns in complex data in order to provide answers to business questions, as well as provide recommendations for action. Interprets data and analyzes results using various statistical techniques and tools. Presents data and analysis in a clear and concise manner allowing the audience to quickly understand the results and recommendations so they act upon them and make data driven decisions. Collaborate with various partners to provide a holistic view of the analysis. Measures and monitors results of applied recommendations and facilitate adjustments. Ensures all data acquisition, sharing and results of applied recommendations are compliant with company standards.

Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as econometrics, computer science, engineering or applied mathematics, or equivalent work experience - Five to seven years of statistics or analytics experience

Preferred Skills/Experience: 1. Seven or more years of data analytics experience. 2. CIA, CISA, ACDA or other relevant professional designation or advanced degree. Public accounting or other relevant experience. 3. Relevant technical knowledge (e.g., software tools, ACL/Galvanize applications, mainframe and distributed services programming, data mining - SQL, Python, etc.). Five or more years of experience with mainframe and WebFOCUS applications. 4. Ability to independently translate business scenarios into efficient and effective data analytic solutions. 5. Demonstrated project management skills 6. Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $92,735.00 - $109,100.00 - $120,010.00
