Job Description

U.S. Bank is looking for Product Owner for Privileged Access Management (PAM). This position is ideal for someone who has had engineering and architectural responsibilities with Privileged Access Management tools like CyberArk, Beyond Trust, Secrets Management, Active Directory Security, Change Auditor, and other technologies used to secure Active Directory environments. This position will also help continue to mature privileged access capabilities in our public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)

U.S. Bank has a privileged access team that has implemented several processes and tools to establish our privilege access management capabilities. We are looking for someone that wants to be involved with continuing to expand and implement our privileged access management strategy and has enough engineering experience to help prioritize work with the engineers on the team. This position is an individual contributor that will be part of the PAM team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, and align the vision, strategy, and roadmap for privileged access management with U.S. Bank Business and Security objectives, along with industry and tech standards and best practices.

  • Lead and support the design and build of PAM technical capabilities.

  • Privileged Access Maturity: Oversees the expansion and use to technology and processes. Develops business cases that drive the adoption of the tools by proving the benefits. This role will be responsible for preparing for the next stage of transformation for Privileged Access Management, focusing on overall risk reduction, operational efficiency, and usability utilizing automation, data analytics and increased monitoring capabilities.

  • Partners closely with customers (infrastructure teams, application teams, business lines, etc)to drive the evolution of the Privileged Access product(s).

  • Maintains and refines product backlog; creates user stories and acceptance criteria and prioritizes all stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum business value that align with product strategy.

  • Acts as primary liaison between the business and Agile teams, ensuring the teams understand vision for the products.

  • Work closely in a hands-on style with engineering team including addressing daily prioritization needs, providing real-time feedback and answering questions on an ongoing basis.

  • Works with Product Management to set release dates, determine when sufficient value has been delivered to release to market, understand tradeoffs between schedule, scope and budget and communicates this information to the organization.

  • Employs product management practices and tactics including customer research, data and analytics, and market research.

  • Experience developing and maintaining metric based reports and KPIs to provide visibility on scope, coverage, identify gaps and enhancement opportunities for the IAM solutions or tool platforms

Preferred Skills/Experience -

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in designing or implementing complex technology projects, compliance, or audit activities, with a focus on Privilege Access Management (or securing Active Directory, Linux, or cloud environments)

  • 6+ years of experience in working with industry leading PAM solutions(or securing Active Directory, Linux, cloud environments, or securing other IT Systems)

  • Experience working with Active Directory security methods and techniques

  • 3+ years of experience in both on-prem and cloud-based access control, access management, access governance and identity methodologies

  • Well-developed ability to collaboratively develop and evolve a product backlog

  • Well-developed ability to develop and articulate a product vision that supports outcomes, value and prioritization of work

  • Advanced understanding and demonstrated abilities in support of the Lean/Agile mindset

  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills including ability to collaborate with and empower teams

  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to influence/manage senior stakeholders

Preferred Skills/Certificates

  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CGEIT

  • Deep understanding of current and evolving industry trends in Identity & Access at a global, enterprise level

  • Strong awareness of technology and strategy/direction in relation to Privilege Access Management

  • Proven experience in driving service improvements including adoption of automation and self-service models

  • Proven experience in dealing with external auditors and leading audit support and response work

This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $116,280.00 - $136,800.00 - $150,480.00
