U.S. Bank Foreign Exchange Operations Manager in Columbus, Ohio

Job DescriptionResponsible for management of Foreign Exchange Production Readiness and Support group with Foreign Exchange Operations. Responsible for business readiness for BAU and Capital Expenditure projects, including assisting with Agile teams and Business Line acceptance testing, facilitating procedural enhancements and change management training, and implementation communication. Currently under taking a platform replacement project this team will implement. This includes, but is not limited to, the WallStreet platform.

Also responsible for support and troubleshooting of production processes and system configuration, including static data, holiday schedules, accounting, settlement, and various operational efficiency initiatives.

Manages the operational activities for assigned functional areas/regions. Ensures quality service and effective operations support for all of the assigned internal and external customers. Accomplishes results through the effective management of staff. Develops and administers corporate policies and procedures and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Establishes operational systems and procedures affecting assigned units, coordinating system conversions from an operations perspective.

Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent work experience - 10 or more years of operations experience - Five or more years of supervisory/management experience

Preferred Skills/Experience - Advanced knowledge of operation functions, systems, policies and procedures for the assigned area - In-depth understanding and practical application of applicable laws and regulations - Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills - Well-developed leadership abilities and strategic management skills - Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills - Thorough knowledge of banking operations and human resources - Advanced knowledge of capital markets, derivatives and foreign currency exchange is a must. - Experience with ION's WallStreet system preferred. - Knowledge of Agile project methodology and production implementations preferred. - Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion preferred.
