Job Description

Develops profitable new business account relationships and increased profitability from existing accounts within the assigned territory. Identifies business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products and services. Makes sales presentations to existing and prospective clients informing them of benefits of using the organization's products and services to meet their needs. Implements and maintains an effective referral network and call program to promote sales.

The successful candidate will develop a thorough knowledge of the process and procedures for commercial card sales. Establishes and maintains internal relationships. Specifically works with Corporate Bankers and Global Treasury Management teams to cultivate new payments opportunities. Establishes and maintains good public relationships with the community to enhance the organization's image and develop new business.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 13 or more years of financial sales experience

  • Ability to travel full-time (nationally)

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Excellent sales and new business development skills

  • Extensive knowledge of commercial payment products

  • Extensive knowledge of CPS products, services, operations, policies and procedures

  • Advanced knowledge of product marketing, client service issues, and organization operations

  • Strong marketing and negotiating skills, emphasizing the development of sales strategies and goals

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Strong customer service/relation skills with ability to creatively resolve client concerns and issues

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $111,690.00 - $131,400.00 - $144,540.00
