Job DescriptionAccountable for the sales leadership and overall management of a team of Wealth Management Bankers across a regional footprint, or in a centralized hub with customers across a regional footprint. Grows the market share of affluent clients within the branch system, ensuring team sales goals are met. Encourages entrepreneurial styles and approaches to balance the commitment for customer service excellence with the commitment to sell the full line of financial products and services. Exercises prudence and diligence when reviewing structure of credit offers and is responsible for credit quality, risk management, and compliance. Provides input to influence the strategic direction of important policies, procedures and programs. Proactively engages in strategic planning with key business partners in regional footprint, developing internal networks to further support the relationship management model. Contributes to and leads the development of activities to build reciprocal referral relationships, promoting integrated partnership opportunities that generate new client prospects and the deepening of the overall relationship of existing clients.
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. You will be subject to the required registration process, which includes a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain any of the NMLS registration requirements, including maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record, may result in a rescission of your offer or termination of employment. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Ten or more years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably with the Affluent segment - Minimum five years of managerial experience - Series 6, 63 and 26 licenses Preferred Skills/Experience - Expert knowledge of sales and sales strategies, including business development and networking - Proven leadership abilities and personnel management skills - Well-developed analytical, decision making and problem solving skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Demonstrated new business development and relationship management skills - Ability to engage in negotiation and conflict resolution by employing tact and diplomacy
