Job DescriptionJob DescriptionResponsible for coaching teams to adopt and implement Agile practices as well as manage a product group portfolio. Operates at the Product Group leadership level (Quad Squad in USB terminology). Acts as a change agent who helps set the vision, show the way, and provide thought leadership on removing impediments to Agile success. Coaches and mentors sprint team resources at either the team and/or product group levels, including Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Product Managers, Technical Leads and executives to leverage Agile principles, engineering practices and frameworks to deliver high value business capabilities.

Helps to coach the team on product management, design thinking, engineering culture, and DevOps. Serves as a subject matter expert on scaling Agile development, agile ways of working, embraces servant leadership, understands engineering practices and serves as a role model for the team to model Agile behaviors and mindsets, which includes key mindset shifts in the journey to Agile.

Participates in the identification, design, development and implementation of assigned Product Groups (portfolios). Interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful and timely completion in accordance with user needs. Evaluates and tracks applicable metrics across product group and works to identify leading and lagging indicators. Participates in training users and evaluating backlogs and roadmaps as well as helping to define OKRs. Manages performance of the product team and evaluates overall team performance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 10 or more years of experience in Information Technology environment
  • Seven or more years of experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and product models
  • Five or more years of experience within an Agile solution environment working on large scale, multiple scrum team
  • Three or more years of experience leading Agile transformation -Experience in configuring and working with common agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Mural and Share Point
  • Agile or Professional Coaching certification, or equivalent work experience

Preferred Skills/Experience - Extensive experience with Agile engineering practices and techniques - Working knowledge of system development lifecycle (SDLC) and process change/improvement - Experience communicating with leadership (lead through influence) -Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
