Job Description

This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at the listed U.S. Bank location(s), while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

U.S. Bank is currently seeking a Communications Project Owner, who will be responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of programs and strategies to support the communication objectives of the business line. The successful candidate must have the ability to lead/manage projects with limited guidance and provide communication tools that are customer-centric.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Supports the customer communication objectives of identified business line

  • Ensures the consistent and successful distribution and implementation of customer-centric communication initiatives that ladder up to the brand

  • Evaluates and measures results to optimize project and ROI

  • Leads cross-functional teams that focus on customer-centric, multi-channel communications programs to maximize acquisition, retention, and engagement

  • Owns project(s) that provides solutions and problem solves for business line objectives

  • Creates and implements technology requirements for comms initiatives

  • Collaborates with internal partners to ensure that all communication programs are in accordance with the objectives, all laws, regulations, and bank policies

  • Completes projects on time and on budget, as outlined in project plans

  • Provides communication resources, expertise, and guidance for business line leaders

  • Communicates effectively with senior management

  • Maintains awareness of changing market dynamics and collaborates with third party vendors and partners to test and learn new ways to engage and communicate with customers and prospects

Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 or more years of experience in project management activities

  • Two or more years of managerial experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Proven ability to deliver results

  • Strong project management skills; CapEx and Communications experience is a plus

  • Ability to manage complex technology-based projects

  • Critical thinker that collaborates to identify opportunities and priorities

  • Ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment adapting to the changing market environment

  • Demonstrated agility in thinking and delivery, specifically with technology

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and team-building skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills

  • Ability to interact and effectively communicate with U.S. Bank leadership

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and assignments that are delivered on target, on time, and on budget

  • Proficient in software and programs that may be necessary to this position

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $125,715.00 - $147,900.00 - $162,690.00
