Job DescriptionU.S. Bank is seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence Analyst with business intelligence applications experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Provides technical expertise for development of business intelligence service offerings and content creation using institutionally designated approaches and technologies. Evaluates client needs for quantitative analysis and participates in creating and articulating relevant solutions. Documents reporting and analysis requirements and participates in business development of reporting and analysis capabilities. Translates business requirements into technical specifications, data model, reporting output, while working with development teams and troubleshooting issues. Supports overall project management and business strategy related to business intelligence. Identifies and communicates to resolve and eliminate data quality issues. Role: Evaluate business requests to determine feasibility, cost and time required, and compatibility with current systems. Analyze business requirements into technical requirements for reporting/visualizations, data models, and databases. Review technical specifications derived from technical requirements. Create and review/approve technical design and specifications on change requests and assignments within a project while maintaining documentation and abstracts in conformance with standards. Develop reporting for business consumption using a variety of BI tools primarily PowerBI. Provide detailed source analysis and data mappings/transformations for development and implementation. Configure BI systems to deliver BI solutions. Manage user privileges / data access to sensitive data. Devise and deliver testing plans and testing data to validate BI solutions. Coordinate user testing for acceptance of BI solutions. Deploy and Validate BI solutions ensuring changes follow appropriate Change and Release Management processes. Assist development teams with analysis and design for new or existing systems. Provide business units with detailed information on data availability, location, lineage, and quality. Perform data analysis, profiling, and quality assessment to ensure the integrity of business data. Assist with incident management situations affecting BI capabilities and solutions. Work with technical leads and architects to implement new standards, new technology, and tactical solutions driving the business strategy forward. Monitor the lifecycle of BI systems by being aware of obsolescence and release dates for the product per the System Development Lifecycle. Work within an extremely agile environment.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelors Degree 0r Equivalent experience - Five + years of experience in computer technology applications and analysis
