Responsibilities

· Lead high profile, cross-functional strategic initiatives

· Partner with business partners to lead corporate strategy initiatives across the company

· Utilize data analytics to assist in aligning business strategy with corporate strategy

· Build collaborative relationships with other U.S. Bank employees across business lines

· Perform other related duties as requested to support key management processes for effective strategy execution

Basic qualifications

· Pursuing a master’s level degree

Preferredqualifications

· Pursuing a master’s level degree, preferably an MBA, with particular interest in strategy, consulting, or related function

· Skillful at leading high-profile, cross-functional strategic initiatives

· Ability to solve complex business problems using an analytical and fact-based approach

· Robust understanding of business practices and principles

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

· Effective written and verbal communication skills within a business context

· Ability to think and work independently with a professional demeanor and receive dynamic on-the-job training

· Structure and support key transformational projects; embracing emerging technologies and new ways of working

The internship position for which you’re applying may be placed under U.S. Bank’s subsidiary, Elavon. Elavon is wholly owned by U.S. Bank, the fifth-largest bank in the United States, and provides end-to-end payment processing solutions and services to more than 1.3 million customers in the United States, Europe, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. As the leading provider for airlines and a top five provider in hospitality, healthcare, retail and public sector/education, Elavon’s innovative payment solutions are designed to solve pain points for businesses from small to enterprise-sized.
