Responsible for managing investment assets for high-net worth and ultra high-net worth individuals, trusts, endowments and foundations in a manner consistent with the established investment objectives and strategies of the company and/or the client. Strong focus on managing client account retention to meet net portfolio growth objectives of the company. Shared responsibility for soliciting, developing, managing, and retaining client relationships for Private Wealth Management. Portfolio Managers are key participants in securing new client business, with senior level Portfolio Managers often managing the most complex and largest relationships. Counsel clients on complex traditional and alternative investments and implement investment strategy through trading activity.
1.Manage a portfolio of individual and/or trust account assets to maximize investment return commensurate with an acceptable level of risk.
2.Assist in the development and implementation of short and/or long-term investment policies and strategies based on management investment philosophy and customer investment objectives.
3.Keep informed of developments in investment markets, using fundamental and/or technical research to arrive at sound and timely investment decisions.
4.Support new business development, relationship management, marketing and prudent investment decision making.
5.Assist senior managers with major accounts.
6.Actively ensure compliance with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures. Actively participate in any required corporate and business line training in these areas. Follow account opening procedures and understand and follow internal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes, as required for this position. Actively work with customers to understand each customer's normal account activity, as appropriate for this position.
1.12+ years of investment management experience.
2.BA/MBA in finance, accounting, or other investment related field.
3.CFP® or CFA designation, or progress toward preferred.
5.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6.Well-developed analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
